Those who know me will tell you that there's one thing I'm pretty passionate about - preservation. Sure, my husband and I started the Instagram @ArchitecturalSplendor and have championed the recent founding of Historic Atlanta, but preservation applies to a lot more than buildings to me. It extends to memories, family, place, community, and even sanity.
While attending art school at Florida State University the first photography book I sold was a photographic documentation of the Gaines Street area which was rapidly being gentrified at the time. After taking a break from photography I came back to it as a way to preserve my sanity when my day job wasn't fulfilling my creative needs. Today you can find me preserving memories every day with snapshots of my growing little family, and wonderful people like you!
